We're very excited to finally launch our 8 week Handstand Push-up Block- a progressive overload programme to ensure structure for your body and your schedule!

If you're stuck on doing pike push-ups and can't seem to find a bent arm press OR the 90 degree HSPU? This is the block for you!

Thornbury Calisthenics aims to differ from other gyms both in terms of exercises and the feel of going to the gym itself. In this way, it is less of a gym, and more of a community of like minded people looking to grow, develop and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

Kalos sthenos

The word calisthenics comes from the ancient Greek words Kalos, which means "Beauty", and Sthenos, meaning "Strength". It is the art of using one's bodyweight as resistance in order to develop both inner and outer beauty and strength.
